| Treats non-fixed contractures of the elbow. Is geared to increasing elbow extension. This orthotic works in the same manner as serial casting, allowing progressive extension by gradually adjusting and readjusting the degrees of extension. Easily position and re-position in 10° increments with the use of an Allen wrench (which is conveniently stored in the frame of the orthotic under the cover). Can also be set in desired static position. Excellent for patients with very strong flexion force. Comes with one cover. Pediatric sizes available.
The Comfy Elbow Orthotics are for gradual extension of non-fixed elbow. It’s available in three models: The Standard Comfy Elbow (E101), the Goniometer Elbow (GE101), and The Spring-Loaded Goniometer Elbow (SGE101). The splints are interchangeable for either extremity. An optional Elbow Pad (E-Pad) slides over the center strap to protect the elbow (olecranon process). |
