The Lumbar Pain Reliever, or LPR 2000, deploys unique opposing force technology to accelerate healing in the lumbar spine. Patients often experience pain relief from the compression and postural improvement that the LPR 2000 provides.
How does the LPR 2000 work?
When the strapping system is closed over the rigid anterior panel, it provides intra-abdominal compression and provides a lift to hold the weight of the abdominal area. By lifting and holding the weight, pressure is relieved from lumbar discs reducing the associated pain. The posterior and anterior panels work together, giving opposing support to stabilize the lumbar sacral region. The result is a supported and pressure-free spine held in a healthy, correct posture. The interior rigid posterior panel is fabric covered and comfortably stabilizes the lumbar sacral region.
Indicated for: spondylosis, chronic lumbar instability, post-operative rehabilitation, degenerative disc disease, chronic back pain, spinal stenosis, herniated lumbar disc
LSO, Sagittal-Coronal control, with rigid anterior and posterior panels, posterior extends from sacrococcygeal junction to T-9 vertebrae, lateral strength provided by rigid lateral frame/panels, produces intracavitary pressure to reduce load on intervertebral discs, includes straps, pendulous abdomen design, prefabricated, includes fitting and adjustment.
