| While OAsys is primarily designed to provide on-the-spot medial or lateral unloading for the relief of pain due to unicompartmental osteoarthritis, it is also appropriate for a host of post-op, rehab and functional applications. These include post-operative protection of repaired articular surfaces, long-term rehabilitation protocols (i.e., greater than 4 weeks) requiring unloading and/or adjustable ROM control and functional support for patients with or without varus/valgus alignment
Indications:
Medial or lateral compartment unloading for unicompartmental osteoarthritis or articular cartilage healing
Post-op, rehab and functional support plus unloading for protocols requiring reduced medial or lateral joint loads during recovery
Functional support with or without varus/valgus alignment
Low to moderate activities of daily living
