| How does the System Loc™ LSO work? When the strapping system is closed over the V-Shaped rigid anterior panel, it provides intra-abdominal muscle compression and provides a lift to hold the weight of the abdominal area. By lifting and holding the weight, pressure is relieved from lumbar discs reducing the associated pain. The posterior and anterior work together, giving opposing support to stabilize the lumbar region. The result is a supported and pressure free lumbar spine held in a healthy, correct posture.
Suggested Protocol During the initial critical pain phase, the System Loc’s rigid anterior should be used. During the secondary phase, the pain should lessen and the patient can become more mobile. The SystemLoc’s semi-rigid anterior can be worn with complete comfort at all times, while working, participating in normal activities, and during rehabilitation programs. Due to its patented closure, the SytemLoc™ will provide constant abdominal support as well as protection for the healing back.
