The Marathoner top cover consists of 1/4" trilaminate composed of an 1/8" layer of urethane, 1/16" layer of poron, and 1/16" layer of urethane. The supportive shell is a cork base with an EVA matrix. This orthosis stands alone for its combination of support and cushioning in any sport involving repetitive pounding.
