Aspen Horizon™ 456 TLSO back brace
The Horizon™ 456 is designed to provide motion restriction, creating a dynamic environment for healing within the thoracolumbar and lumbar spine. Comfortable and easy to don and doff, the Horizon 456 improves patient compliance. The Horizon 456 was designed specifically to target patients with indications that have historically been a challenge to treat such as compression fractures, burst fractures and hyper-kyphosis.
The Horizon 456 is one-size adjustable and comfortably fits waists from 24-70 inches. Like all Horizon braces, the Horizon 456 TLSO can be stepped down to the Horizon PRO (Pain Relief Orthosis) for treatment of recurring back pain.
PDAC approved billing code is L0456.
Comfortably Fits 24—70"
Please note: Without Extension panels, the brace will fit 24" - 54". Add the Extension Panels and the sizing is extended from a maximum circumference of 57" to a 70" circumference.
Simple pull‑through sizing allows one brace to fit waists ranging from 24—70 inches. No cutting required.
Horizon’s ergonomic and low‑profile design may be comfortably worn under clothing.

Stability and Comfort
Breathable mesh spacer fabric for increased comfort.
4:1 Independent Compression Mechanism
Mechanically advantaged SlickTrack™ tightening system independently tightens top and bottom allowing patients to localize
compression where needed for maximum pain relief.
Inelastic Braces More Effective at Controlling Low Back Pain
Recent research shows that the effectiveness of an LSO in relieving lower back pain depends on how well the brace improves trunk stability.1 Inelastic braces are more effective than elastic braces in augmenting trunk stiffness allowing overtaxed low back muscles to relax. Aspen braces, including the Horizon line, are inelastic by design.
