COMFY ELBOW

The Comfy Elbow Orthotics are for gradual extension of non-fixed elbow. It’s available in three models: The Standard Comfy Elbow (E101), The Goniometer Elbow (GE101), and The Spring-Loaded Goniometer Elbow (SGE101). The splints are interchangeable for either extremity. An optional Elbow Pad (E-Pad) slides over the center strap to protect the elbow (olecranon process).

Standard Comfy Elbow The Standard Comfy Elbow (E-101) is particularly user friendly. Simply bend the orthosis into the desired position. Cuffs are also bendable to allow for optimal fit. This orthosis is well padded, minimizing the chance of skin breakdown. Applications include use as a resting splint or for the gradual extension of Non-Fixed Elbow contractures. Comfy Goniometer Elbow Treats non-fixed contractures of the elbow. Is geared to increasing elbow extension. This orthotic works in the same manner as serial casting, allowing progressive extension by gradually adjusting and readjusting the degrees of extension. Easily position and re-position in 10° increments with the use of an Allen wrench (which is conveniently stored in the frame of the orthotic under the cover). Can also be set in desired static position. Excellent for patients with very strong flexion force. Comes with one cover. Pediatric sizes available.
Comfy Spring-Loaded Goniometer Elbow Treats non-fixed contractures of the elbow. Functions similar to the Goniometer model with the added feature of having a spring that gently pushes the extremity to the selected degree of extension. The spring strength is set.
