Comfy OPH Opposition Thumb Hand with Thumb Strap

The Opposition Thumb Hand is a new hand splint that provides an adjustable “C” bar support to hold the thumb in opposition. The OPH differs from the Hand Thumb Orthosis (Comfy TA) by providing a completely adjustable enclosure of the thumb to position MCP, PIP and DIP joints of the thumb. Provides gradual extension of the wrist-hand-finger or thumb deformity. Custom fit easily attained without tools or heat. Arm, wrist, finger and thumb are independently adjustable. Wings on sides prevent ulnar/radial deviation. Optional finger separator (FS-1) can be positioned as desired to prevent pressure areas between joints of fingers. Requires designation of right or left hand for correct fit.
