Comfort Endurance™ ZipSleeve Suspension Sleeve

Comfort Endurance™ Suspension Sleeves are made of a higher grade neoprene than most of the Neoprene suspension sleeves available on the market. When you take time to feel an Endurance™ suspension sleeve and compare it to others, you can easily recognize the higher quality by its much smoother feel. It is a tougher, stronger, and more durable neoprene material than most others. Endurance™ sleeves also feature a rugged outer nylon cover.

Every Endurance™ suspension sleeve is manufactured using an intensive blind stitching and gluing process that greatly reduces seam failure and allows it to stand up to the rigor and stress of everyday use, even for users who lead a more active lifestyle. With three styles and two stock colors available, there is an Endurance™ sleeve that is right for everybody!

The newest suspension sleeve to join the Comfort Endurance™ family of products, the Comfort Endurance™ Zip Sleeve is a welcomed addition that "adds a little zip" for geriatric transtibial amputees who want to wear a neoprene suspension sleeve. For these geriatric wearers, gone are the old days of endlessly struggling to get their sleeve into place with rolling and tugging that seemed to go on forever. Zip it up and you're ready to go!

The Comfort Endurance™ ZipSleeve Suspension Sleeve offers all the comfort of the other Comfort Endurance™ suspension sleeves, as well as additional stability by preventing socket rotation. For below the knee amputees with weakened hand strength, this sleeve's zipper is an elegantly simple way to easily don and doff this suspension garment. It's also a time saver for prosthesis practitioners who would otherwise have to sew a zipper onto the suspension sleeve themselves.

Just wanted to write a brief review to warn people about this item. The zipper is beneficial in that it provides and easier way to secure the sleeve; however, despite the product fitting properly, the zipper has a tendency to unzip with certain motions to the point the prosthetic wobbles and sometimes falls off. Said motions aren't extreme or abrupt in any way, just activities such as walking down a flight of stairs, squatting to pet a dog, and unloading the dishwasher. In my opinion, based on first-hand experience and subsequent bruising, this suspension sleeve is a danger to the well-being of the wearer.
